I want to thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about me and considering me as an adoptive mother for your baby.  I admire your courage as you consider what is best for you and your baby.  I support open adoption because I believe that honesty is the best policy.  A child needs to know where he or she came from in order to have a strong sense of self.  I want my child to know his or her adoption story and to know you.  I will be happy to maintain a level of contact that makes you comfortable.
